WHAT TO EXPECT:
Whether you’re seeking support during a time of loss and life change or wanting relief from anxiety, insomnia, lack of energy or sense of purpose in life, our work together will focus on your specific needs.
In our first session, we will explore what areas of your life and daily experience you would like to change. This might be related to overwhelming or uncomfortable emotions or physical issues such as pain, digestive problems, or lack of energy. Perhaps you’re having trouble sleeping, concentration, or keeping up with daily tasks.
With this understanding of your unique goals and circumstances, I’ll suggest some specific techniques that we can practice together in session and identify how to integrate them into your daily life.
In this process you will gain undean rstanding of how you nervous systems responds to stress, learn to recognize the early signs of dysregulaton, and gather a toolkit of techniques to self-regulate.
My therapeutic approach recognizes there is no “one-size-fits-all” and integrates my professional training as a MSW psychotherapist, yoga teacher, yoga & ayurveda therapist, health & wellness coach, and my extensive studies in somatic and mind-body approaches to healing, together with my personal experience of finding relief from the suffering of grief and axiety.
