About
Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, my fascination with the strength of the human spirit & the transformational potential of life's challenges guided my studies & career as an MSW social worker & psychotherapist.
The sudden death of my husband, Drew, when I was 30 years old led me on a search for meaning throughout South America to my new home in Santa Marta, Colombia where I help people connect with the wisdom of their bodies to navigate life’s losses, changes & stresses.
Integrating my professional training and experience as a psychotherapist, yoga teacher, wellness coach & certified grief educator (LINK GRIEF.COM, together with my personal journey with grief, anxiety, and nervous system dysregulation, I offer individual & group therapies (online or in-person in Santa Marta & at retreats).
I am currently completing two books: a memoir about my experience of rediscovering life after Drew’s death & a 30-day guidebook for life change, using yoga, breath, somatic techniques & meditation.
You can learn more about my story on the Widow 180 podcast (LINK) or contact me to arrange a call.
(Please note, this website is in progress. I am certainly not a web designer but am in the process of learning, in hope that the people I can support will be able to find me.
Please do contact me if there’s anything you’re wondering about that isn’t clear here).
